A small, intimate wellness retreat for humans who want to move, eat, and rest in a way that actually supports their body — set on 20 acres of jungle, waterfalls, and cacao forest on Costa Rica's Pacific coast.


The days follow a gentle intermittent fasting rhythm: morning movement, a late brunch, a full afternoon, and dinner as the sun drops. Every meal is intentionally prepared with carnivore and animal-based options — grass-fed, locally sourced, no sugar, no seed oils, no soy, no gluten.


The movement is varied and thoughtful. Creative Vinyasa. Yin and Restorative yoga. Fascial flow. Somatic practices. Mindful walking through jungle trails. A full-body strength session in the best-equipped gym in the area. Evening sessions range from breathwork to Yoga Nidra to loving-kindness meditation to a dance party.


Hot sauna. Cold plunge. Waterfall pools. A swimming pool overlooking the Pacific. Beach day. And enough unstructured time to actually rest.


Most yoga retreats serve vegetarian or standard retreat fare. This one was built for people who've been waiting for a retreat that doesn't ask them to choose between their nutrition and their practice.

Dr. Kristina Dobyns, PhD, MS, RSMT, NTP


Kristina is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist with a PhD in Somatic Psychology and a Master's in Exercise Science. She holds advanced training in metabolic health, mindfulness-based relapse prevention, mindful eating, strength physiology, yoga, and body-based therapies — including specialized training in the Ketogenic Diet for Mental Health under Harvard-trained psychiatrist Dr. Georgia Ede.


Before the doctorate, there was a whole other chapter: professional breakdancer, two-time All-Around Figure and Physique Overall Champion, three national powerlifting records, and a thriving personal training practice. She gets intensity. She also gets recovery.


For over twenty years, people have come to Kristina for fat loss, strength, rehab, mobility, and holistic wellness. Her work now centers on recovery from binge eating and compulsive overeating — something she understands personally after resolving a 25-year struggle through therapeutic carnivore/ketogenic nutrition and the same pillars she teaches. Body-informed, biology-backed, built for people who are done with programs that fall apart by Tuesday.


Kristina is currently residing in San Diego with her goldendoodle Sati, who was not invited to this retreat but wants you to know he's very upset about it.
