The Life That Fits is an 8-day immersive retreat in Costa Rica for women who are ready to stop overriding themselves, reconnect with what is actually true, and return home with a direction that finally fits.

This retreat goes deeper than a wellness vacation. It is a professionally held, body-led experience designed to help you slow down enough to hear yourself again, and stay with what you find.

You will move through daily somatic practice, guided reflection, honest conversation, and integration, in a setting that gives your nervous system enough room to actually exhale. Excursions are woven into the week not as activities but as living encounters with what becomes possible when something is allowed to be fully itself.

Valerie Pedigo

Before building Renewed Spirit Adventures, Valerie spent over 20 years as a banking executive. She

was genuinely great at it, and she genuinely loved it – the people, the relationships, the challenge, the sense of purpose that comes from being trusted with something important. Those years gave her experiences and connections she is deeply grateful for.

She also knows the other side.

The moment the corporate world began asking her to compromise who she was. The slow erosion of self that happens when you keep saying yes to the expectations and no to the quiet voice underneath them. The particular exhaustion of being capable and seen – and still feeling that you are disappearing.

That experience lives in her work now as a precise understanding of what it costs to perform a version of yourself for long enough that you lose track of where the performance ends.

Her own path has been one of finding her way back – to her body, to her truth, to the life that is actually hers. Her approach is grounded, trauma-informed, and deeply practical. She will not tell you what your life should look like. She will help you hear what it is actually asking for.

This is her calling.

Allie Greene

Before becoming a licensed social worker, trauma-focused therapist, and Registered Somatic Movement Educator/Therapist (RSME/T), Allie was a professional dancer. She loved the stage, the audience, and the aliveness of movement.

She also knows the other side: the discipline, striving, and pressure to perform. What it is like to live in a body expected to keep going, producing, and pleasing, even when something inside is asking for something else.

That experience lives in her work now as a deep, embodied understanding of the relationship between the body, performance, and expectation.

Her own path has been one of coming home to herself, learning to listen, soften perfection, and build a more compassionate relationship from the inside out. This is the process she guides others through, with the presence and care needed to hold it.

The space she creates is one where you do not have to perform or get anything right. You are invited to stay with yourself.

This is the heart of her work.
